Hey guys,
Last year I attended the Polar Bear v. Penguins game and unfortunately the paint was bad, albeit the weather was below zero but it ruined the day for 80% of the players I spoke to. This year my team is planning on giving your field another shot but I just wanted to let you guys know that getting plain old winter fill paint is not enough to ensure that the paint will not have problems.
Please if you want ot make this event sucessful and give me and my team a reason to come agian buy proper paint. Trust me players wont mind paying extra for paint that can hold up to extreme weather conditions.
I recommend ARCTIC "INFERNO" paint made by Draxxus. Not Arctic Mist, Mist is just not good enough, if last year is any indicator...Please check out the reviews on pbreview.com and please have proper paint. A concerned player.

Theo,
Last year we used Origin paintballs, and although the paint was fresh and stored in our climate controlled paint room until just before it was sold, the performance was less than desirable.
Because of this one event we no longer use this paint. We're pretty demanding from our vendors.
Since early October we been using Draxxus paintballs exclusively, supplied by ProCaps.
The Paint shell and fill are custom made to our specifications. We have had no issues with paintballs since we moved to ProCaps.
Two weeks ago we received our first batch of Winter paint. To test the quality of the paint ProCaps performed multiple quality control tests in Canada, where I hope New Jersey's temperatures will never drop.
We've had a few pretty cold days this season, so we further tested, the paint, here at TopGun, by leaving it out for an hour or two and then blasted it though one of our tournament players guns at over 19 balls a second. Most big game players rate of fire will be alot slower than this. The performance was solid.
To further allay your concerns about the paint, ProCaps retail trailer and sales reps will be on site for the Big Game, so if there are any complaints there will be someone that can be complained to directly.
The Farmers Almanac said we should be in a warming trend in Mid-January, so let's hope they're right.
Hope to see you all on Sunday January 13th for TopGun's 3rd annual Polar Bears vs. Penguins extravaganza.
Thanks,

Knowing you were also concerned about th eproblem and have taken steps to rectify it is all i needed to hear. It is nice to see a field that cares about the players experience. I will definetely be attending and bringing my friends, thank you for the reply.
