War Of The Worlds
“RETURN OF THE SYNTH”

We’ve known for quite some time that earth has been visited by life forms from other areas of our universe. How far away and from what galaxy, we had no idea until 1988.
We knew that aliens built the ancient pyramids of Egypt and South America! Humans didn’t possess the technology nor did they have the social skills to build structures of that magnitude especially at that time in our history.

In the late 1800’s the earth was invaded by aliens from another galaxy and for the first time in modern history humans witnessed and recorded the event. HG Wells wrote a book and several short stories about an invasion of aliens from other planets. This was supposed to have taken place in Europe in the late 1800’s, but H.G. Wells wasn’t taken seriously.
Then on October 31st 1938 an entertainer by the name of Orson Wells did a live radio broadcast about an invasion of Martians that had landed at Grover Mills N.J. Within 24 hours of landing, the “Martians” starting dying. To keep the American population from learning of the real invasion of the Alien Mortax the U.S. government paid Orson Wells to “admit” his broadcast was a Halloween prank.

July 7th 1947, in the state of Nevada, news reports told of an alien crash site. The Unites States government told a story of weather balloons and over active imaginations.

Then, 18 years ago, we humans learned that the crash site was that of a race of beings call the Synth. There were no known survivors.

Then in 1953, Earth was again invaded by aliens we were already familiar with, the Mortax. The same Aliens that invaded us back in 1938. A movie was made based on this invasion with one of the characters , a scientist by the name of Dr Forester, credited with writing some of the most comprehensive books and documentary about the physiology of the Alien Mortax. In real life, Dr Forester studied the aliens until he died at the age of 83. The movie did no more then to belittle the invasion to the point that nobody believed the reports of an alien invasion. The government again denied the earth was invaded.

In 1988 a terrorist group tried to take over a U.S. nuclear storage facility. Instead, they released a large group of aliens that had been stored in 55 gallon drums from the 1938 and 1953 invasions. High levels of radiation at the storage facility had cured them and the terrorists unknowingly released the alien “Mortax” from their temporary coffins. Unfortunate for the terrorists

A group of humans called the Blackwood project, headed by Astrophysicist Harrison Blackwood, discovered the aliens were alive and taking over our bodies with a technique called cellular infusion. Blackwood’s elite team: Colonel Paul Ironhorse, cellular biologist Susan Macula, computer wiz Norton Drake, and Sam Silvertoung, together with a group of specialized soldiers, began fighting the Mortax Aliens.
After 3 long years of fighting, the humans started losing the battle, and the earth was visited again by the Synth, from their planet Quartos. They said they were here to help rid the earth of the Mortax infestation. In less than 30 days, the Synth had killed over 10,000 Mortax.
As strangely and suddenly as the Synth appeared, they left. They said they would return in 19 years, when the folds of space would again open, allowing travel across galaxies, solar systems, and even to other plains of existence.
18 years ago the Synth left earth, mistakenly leaving behind a book written in their language. Norton Drake, of the Blackwood project, struggled constantly for 2 years to decipher the book that would tell the human race of its fate.
The title read “How to serve Man?”

It was a menu.

A short time ago the Synth returned and began harvesting the human race.

-The information the Humans have on the Synths is scant. The Synth are of synthetic outside and Electro/Hydraulic circuitry inside. The Synth can transform themselves to look like anyone or any other creature or thing on this planet. Humans must be cautious.
-There was a rumor the Mortax had knowledge of a weapon called the S.S.S.C.D.C. It was said to neutralize the Synth, somehow disrupting the Synth’s Circuits.
-Can the Earth Alliance Intelligence agency (E.A.I.A) find the information needed to build an S.S.S.C.D.C.?
-Will the Earth Alliance Army (E.A.A.) be able to keep the Synth busy long enough for the scientists to try to build their own weapon to neutralize the Synth?
-Will the Synth have a large take out order?
-Who will take delivery of this take out order of Human sushi, fried lady fingers, Ducky fritters anyway?
-Could there be other aliens joining the fight for Earth?
-Oh did I mention “Quinn”? And what is a Quar’ts?
-The Humans have heard rumors for years that during the last days of the Mortax, they mated with humans in hopes of preserving the Mortax race. If they managed to mate with humans and produce Hybrid Human/Mortax, where are they now? Who are they? What traits of each species do they possess? Will the Synth be able to scent/sniff them out as they have done for millions of years?
